Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Provide primary medical care to employees and their families who may require it during working hours.
• Manage and treat work-related injuries or illnesses in a timely manner and ensure appropriate documentation of medical records.
• Monitor the health of the employees and take proactive measures to maintain and improve their health.
• Develop, implement and oversee health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Conduct medical check-ups, immunization programs, and health education programs.
• Provide emergency medical care and coordinate with hospitals or ambulance services as required.
• Maintain accurate records of medical treatments and follow-up with patients as necessary.
• Collaborate with other departments such as HR and safety to promote a safe and healthy work environment.

Requirements:

• Possess a recognized medical degree and valid medical registration with a state medical council.
• Familiarity with occupational health regulations and standards, as well as knowledge of the physical, chemical and biological hazards associated with factory environments.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with employees, management and other stakeholders.
• Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in emergency situations.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as required by the needs of the organization.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in a professional manner.
